Katie Carley joined Moore Ruble Yudell in 2006, and has nearly 20 years of experience in business development, marketing, public relations for architecture firms. As Director of Development at MRY, Katie is responsible for researching new markets, identifying new business opportunities, cultivating and maintaining client and consultant relationships, and leading the preparation of new proposals and contracts. Katie works closely with the leadership of the firm to create new avenues for market growth and business development; and helps to guide and develop all specific project pursuit strategies. She has led MRY and their consultant teams to success on major project pursuits both nationally and internationally, including the Dublin Institute of Technology Campus Master Plan, the new Santa Barbara Courthouse, and the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. She also leads the firm's strategic planning process, and manages external communications and media relations.
Katie Carley received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She has been a past board member of the Society of Marketing for Professional Services (SMPS) and the USC Architectural Guild Committee. She currently sits on the Pacific Regional Council for the Society of College and University Planners (SCUP).
