With more than 7 years of experience working in international architectural design firms, Lei Chen is not only good at using various design softwares, but also versed in local design codes. With a strong emphasis on developing quility design, his diverse skills and fresh perspectives give him a firm understanding of most facets of design and allow him to manage projects based on a thoughtful contemporary response to site and context.
Prior to joining Moore Ruble Yudell, he served as Job Captain and Intermediate Designer for Gensler. The projects he participated in China include the 400,000 sm / 350 m Nanjing World Trade Center tower: 320,000 sm HQ tower with 5-star hotel, residential and retail; the 62,000 sqm Shanghai KIC Office Headquarters; the 122,000 sqm/ 100m Chengdu AVIC mix-used project; the 48,000 sqm / 150m Manila Citimax Headquarter.
Lei is now in the design group of the new, 813,000 sqm Shanghai Advanced Research Institute campus for MRY.
