Originally from Vietnam, Tony Tran received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University with a double-major in Urban Studies and Art History, and his Master of Architecture degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. Tony is a Registered Architect in the State of California, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and a LEED Accredited Professional—Building Design + Construction. Since 1990, Tony has worked at Moore Ruble Yudell as an Architect, Project Designer and Illustrator/Renderer on diverse master planning, residential, educational and mixed-use projects. Recent projects include the Grangegorman Master Plan in Dublin, Ireland, and the COFCO Agricultural Eco-Valley Master Plan in China.
Since 1997, Tony has been an instructor in the UCLA Extension Landscape Architecture Program, where he teaches the Graphic Communication for Landscape Architects I & II sequence. Tony also teaches the "On-Site Watercoloring" class which meets at major public open spaces in the Los Angeles area.
