Martin Saavedra received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines.
He started his professional career as an on-site assistant construction administrator of a geothermal power plant project outside Manila. His interest in the importance of collaboration of urban design, architecture and engineering drives his passion toward the technical aspects of projects. Martin believes that the realization of quality architecture relies heavily in understanding the building process and clear communication of the design concept through thorough documentation.
Martin joined Moore Ruble Yudell in 1989, and has served as Project Manager and Job Captain for numerous large, complex commercial and institutional projects, as well as custom residential projects. Projects he worked on have received numerous local and international awards and citations. As Associate, he is currently involved on US Embassy projects around the world.
