Born in California and raised in Illinois, Blake Patten received his Bachelor of Architecture degree in 2001 from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. During his studies he attended the Asia Study Abroad Program and attended Universiti Malaya in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Blake received the Robert Allen Rogaff Award for Most Promising Architectural Delineation for his 2001 Thesis Design. After practicing architecture in Chicago for several years, Blake recently returned to California. Since joining Moore Ruble Yudell, his work has focused on campus projects ranging from the new Shanghai Advanced Research Institute, to the UCLA Engineering VI and UC Santa Barbara BioEngineering buildings.
